CRE PPE2-1 call for tender for ground-mounted power plants: Q ENERGY wins 4 projects for a total of 37.7 MW
Four ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant projects submitted by Q ENERGY to the first period of the Energy Regulation Commission's call for tender (AO CRE PPE2-1), have been designated winners for a total of 37.7 MWp. These projects are:
- Sablé Rouge : located in Val-de-Livenne in Gironde, with an installed capacity of 17.7 MWp, this project aims to develop an area dedicated to photovoltaic energy of around 20 hectares located near an airfield.
- La Gineste : with an installed capacity of 7.3 MWp, the project is located in La Tourette-Cabardès in the Aude department. It was developed in partnership with the Communauté de Communes and the commune and provides for the reintroduction of agricultural activity on the site, in parallel with the project, which covers an area of approximately 7 hectares.
- Milhat : located in Lafitte-Vigordane in the Haute Garonne, the installed power of the future plant will be 7.6 MWp. It will make the most of an old gravel pit while preserving a virtuous local agricultural activity: organic sheep and poultry farming in a short circuit.
- Griffoul : with an installed capacity of 5 MWp, the Griffoul solar project is located in Le Temple-sur-Lot, in the Lot-et-Garonne region. It aims to develop a 7-hectare plot of land dedicated to photovoltaic solar energy.
These four projects will supply the equivalent of 20,000 inhabitants with green electricity and avoid the emissions of more than 10,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
« Our name has changed, but our teams and our project development philosophy remain unchanged. This new success is added to the portfolio of 150 MW already won by our teams during the last CRE calls for tenders and demonstrates our strong ambition to become a major player in the solar sector in France », says Céline Spitzhorn, Solar Director at Q ENERGY France.
Q ENERGY currently has a portfolio of 2.5 GW of solar projects in various stages of development and is also positioning itself in floating solar and agrivoltaism.
